Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. He blends soul gospel jazz and R&B in a distinct mix. The singer's career has taken her across Broadway to European concerts and festivals to even the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's name is Denise White. Though she lives in Atlanta but she is from Chester Pennsylvania where she began the musical path by singing as well as playing the piano at church. She studied at Spellman College and began to learn the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. Sunshine was the subject of national media interest during four consecutive performances at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was later invited to sing during the Obama's inauguration ceremony in 2009.
