Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz, born within Winona Minnesota. Her parents, Winona Ryder's parents, named her for the town she grew up in. Her father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder, who considers herself Jewish and descends from Ryder's Jewish father. The actress is the younger sister of Uria and two half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder's parents relocated her and her siblings into Mendocino County California when Ryder turned seven. There were no electric lights. Ryder became an avid reading book because there was no television. Ryder began to take acting classes in the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12 years old. Ryder landed her first film role on the big screen in 1986 at the age of 15 young. Ryder was bullied in the high school. She hoped acting might change the situation. Sadly, this didn't occur. But she continued to chase the dreams she had. Her breakthrough came in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder played successful roles for various films. In 1993, Ryder was in the running two times for the Academy Awards.
